Update on Rosanna

Here is our Songs of Hope update on Australian Christian rock legend Rosanna Palmer.

  1. In the first audio Rod interviews Vic Campbell about his book on her life. The book title is “Rosanna Rock and Roll Believer” and is available in the itunes store or from Koorong book store. Date 2014-12-07
  2. In the second audio Vic Campbell does Rosanna as an Aussie Christian music legend and she sings one of her songs. Date 2014-03-02.
  3. In the third audio Rod does a spotlight on Rosanna and she sings “Jesus you are everything to me”. Date 2013-05-05

Federation Day 1 Jan

The first Governor General Lord Hopetoun  and the first Prime Minister of Australia were sworn in in Sydney and the agreed constitution of Australia proclaimed. Here is Songs of Hope story.

The picture above is a real photograph of the crowds at the federation ceremony on 1 Jan 1901. The oaths were taken in the white pavillion.
The video below is an actual film taken of Archbishop Smith waiting for the arrival of  Lord Hopetoun and Edmund Barton in the pavillion in 1901. The film was taken by the Salvation Army.
