This Saturday – Compliments of Gus live

compliments-of-gus-smallerSongs of Hope did a spotlight on Melbourne Christian band “Compliments of Gus” on 3/3/2013. This band is now appearing this Saturday, 16 March at live@wilsonstreet.

They will be presenting their new album “Heartbeat”. Doors open 7:30, band on about 8:00 pm. live@wilsonstreet is located at 1st floor/10 Wilson St, South Yarra. Tickets at door, only $10. Here is a podcast of the spotlight done on Compliments of Gus on 3/3/2013. Songs are “Words be few” and “The Brave”.

Top song for 2012

Here it is, the top Songs of Hope Christian song for 2012.

It was selected by listeners. The song with the most downloads was adjudged the winner. The winner is “The Peace of God” an original song created in 2012 by Nick Flynn of Brisbane with words by Ellen Carr. Listen again and enjoy.

Monique Lisbon – Easter Special

482575_617046434977981_2063890645_nOn Channel 7 on Good Friday the Christian Television Association will screen a new documentary called “Forgiven People”. It is produced by Vic Campbell and features Vic interviewing three people who find help from God.

One of the interviewees is Monique Lisbon. Monique  in our spotlight podcast below sings “Evermore”, a song based on Psalm 46.
