Songs of Hope 
Good evening Rod.I’d meant to fire off a thankyou e-mail last weekend for the two recent airings of that great hymn King of Glory, King of Peace. George Herbert’s 17th Century words probably seem archaic to most modern ears but it speaks wonderfully of our approach to worship. I recall that, one Sunday about 10 years ago, when leading worship at Bentleigh Baps, I included that hymn. Rev Geoff Ryall, Pastor at Bentleigh at the time, commented that he was greatly fond of it but hadn’t sung it since his school days at Carey. I was pleased that it brought back fond memories for Geoff. I selected it from Mission Praise. My edition is a weighty tome of some 1250 hymns and songs. Needless to say it doesn’t sit well on my piano’s music rest. Thanks again.Blessings. Steve Gray
